Buckeyes Will Have Hands Full Against Badgers

Playing a Big Time prime time matchup in Wisconsin is not easy. With a loud stadium for a Big Ten matchup, playing on the road against the Badgers at Camp Randall Stadium is never an easy task.

If you are Ohio State, who is currently number one in the nation, the matchup tonight against the Badgers will not be one to take lightly for that reason. The Buckeyes earned the number one ranking last weekend but anything is possible in a Big Ten matchup.

During this season, Buckeyes quarterback Terrelle Pryor has blossomed into both a passing and running threat and will need to do the same tonight. Wisconsin does have a strong defense so Pryor will have to rely on his capabilities and Brandon Saine to help move the ball down the field. The Buckeyes will need to take control of the game offensively early on and take the crowd out of it as well.

On defense, the Buckeyes will need to limit mistakes because the Badgers don’t commit many penalties and tend to strike first on their opening drives. Mistakes and lackadaisical play against weaker teams has almost cost the Buckeyes at times and the Badgers have scored a touchdown on the first drive in four of their six games this season. The Badgers can easily take control of this game with a couple of quick scores and keep their crowd loud and focused early on. The Badgers are also second in the Big Ten for rushing and will be looking to plow through the Ohio State defensive line early on.

Playing on the road is not easy and against a strong team like Wisconsin, the Buckeyes will have their hands full.
