Ex-Brown Braylon Edwards faces NFL penalty for fight outside a Cleveland nightclub, report says | Starting Blocks – cleveland.com

In October, former Browns wide receiver Braylon Edwards got into a fight outside a Cleveland Night Club and pleaded no contest to those charges last week. The NFL is now taking a closer look at the situation and Edwards may be suspended for a few games next season.

After seeing how Edwards’s actions led to this, the Browns definitely made the right decision in getting rid of him. The Browns already had a public relations nightmare before last season began when Donte Stallworth was charged with a DUI and having Edwards on the team would have created further distractions. Edwards is also getting sued by a former girlfriend who is claiming her child also belongs to Edwards. Even though he had talent at one point, Edwards was not worth the long term investment.
